Parent & Staff Book Week Competition Winners
Congratulations to Heesoon Oh and Shirley Ong, the two winners of our 2022 Book Week Parent and Staff Competition. What we love most about Book Week is the way the whole College community embraces the opportuniity to celebrate books and reading and gets so involved with all the 'booky' activities and events we plan across our three wonderful libraries duriing that special week. Each year we try to link into the zeitgeist of the time and come up with a competition which challenges our adult readers.
We are firm believers here in the library that "readers are definitely made on the laps of the parents" and hence the importance of our adult community members modelling what we want our students to do.

Book Week is the 28 February – 4 March 2022 with the focus that reading diverse books can affirm our identities, challenge our misconceptions, foster understanding with people unlike ourselves and broaden our awareness of the world. Stories can be very powerful in learning about the different ways of being in the world and this year the DCSG Libraries aim to bring these to the forefront.
