University Counselling Provision(7)
Students at Dulwich College (Singapore) will benefit from our unique university and careers counselling curriculum that starts to prepare students from Lower Senior School for university and careers beyond school. Our student to counsellor ratio is set to be no greater than 30:1 in Year 13. As a result of both group and individual work, students choose universities and degrees that are most appropriate to their interests. This leads to better matching to the right universities during the selection process and better experiences for our students whilst at university.
Our students not only receive a personalised service from their university counsellor, but also benefit from the indirect support that comes from having 20 experienced counsellors with diverse backgrounds sharing ideas and best practices throughout the Dulwich network of schools.
Dulwich College International (DCI) students receive offers from prestigious universities around the world including Oxbridge, UK Russell Group and US Ivy League Universities. Our network of schools has an excellent and growing reputation with many of these universities which gives students unrivalled access to them. At DCI, the most popular destinations are approximately UK (49%) and US (39%), but students have also applied for and go to Canada, Hong Kong, Europe, Australia, South Korea and particularly the Netherlands. It is also important to note that Dulwich Colleges’ reputation within arts, music and theatre is also unrivalled and allows access to speciality colleges such as Central St Martins College of Art and Design, Berklee College of Music, Rhode Island School of Design, Emory Riddle Aeronautical University, School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Pratt Institute.
