BYOD in IBDP (13)

During the 2 years of IB Diploma at DCSG, a number of online resources will be used to help facilitate student learning. To this end students will participate in a Bring Your Own Device program, noting that our program is very flexible with only recommendations regarding the type of device utilised. If there are any tips for choosing a device they are the four simple rules for a school device: - 

• Excellent battery life
• Robust (High Build quality with little flex in screen)
• Small enough to carry and fit into locker/bag
• Lightweight

ManageBac will be utilised by all IB students for many tasks as is there online main portal for their Diploma: -

• CAS recording and reflection
• Extended Essay development
• Timeline Deadlines
• Internal Assessment Handin
• Assignments in all courses
• Registration for the IB Diploma
• Parental Access to see Units and Assignments
• Live Gradebook
