As part of our Book Week celebrations the group host a virtual author talk with Alex Gino on Tuesday 2nd March during their normal meeting time.

Alex is a prominent LGBTQ+ author for children and young people. They are also an LGBTQ+ activist and educator and will be doing a virtual talk about writing and the LGBTQ+ community. "Representation in books is vital, but the power of meeting a real, life adult living their truth is irreplaceable for kids working to make sense of themselves and the world they live in."
