You can check their online catalogue here to check if they have the books you want to borrow. You can borrow and return books to any branch in Singapore. During the summer holidays they have a double up loan promotion, where you can borrow up to 16 books, e-books, magazines or other resources. The National Library Board's catalogue of digital and audio books, newspapers and magazines is excellent. They have titles in various genres and in Singapore's four official languages. The great thing about ebooks is that they can be borrowed remotely and are automatically returned. This is particularly important when we are travelling. No worries about lost books, overdue books and renewals - and lighter luggage! As this article says, "Books matter; how kids read them doesn’t."
