The Junior School Book Week will be held on the 5th- 9th March. For those of you with students in DUCKS, please be aware that their book week is the week before, commencing on 26th February. Our book week will be launched on Friday 2nd, with book character dress up day. This is arguably the best day on the school calendar when every student and staff member comes dressed as a book character. I'm sure many of you have planned costumes but for those who have not, we urge you to think about being more sustainable in your choices. Ask around and share costumes amongst friends. Also, this year, for the first time, we will be awarding house points to students who come in a costume made from mostly recycled materials. But of course, we will be enjoying and celebrating every single character who appears on the day! In book week there will be an illustrator workshop for Year 3 and an Author Talk for Years 5 and 6. Order forms for these books can be found here on the blog. In addition, there is a fun competition for parents and staff to get involved in. Please see the poster below. The book fair will also be held on the 28th February for three days.
